Town of Merrimac Residents Only- ID Required

Saturday, September 19th, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

YARD WASTE COLLECTION

At the Village of Merrimac Wastewater Treatment Plant behing the Merrimac Conservation Club. The Merrimac Conservation Club is located 1 mile west of the Village of Merrimac. A large green sign is located at the entrance on the north side of Hwy 78/113.  Follow the gravel road and stay to the right to enter the Wastewater Treatment Plant. This property belongs to the Village of Merrimac. 

NO DUMPING AT ANY OTHER TIME. 

ITEMS ACCEPTED: 

  • Grass clippings
  • Leaves
  • Branches and other brush.
  • Organic yard waste only

Your load will be inspected and any other materials will be turned away to continue offering this service in the future. 

Next Brush collection day:  Saturday, October 17th, 2026 – 9:00am-12:00pm.

 

 **** Two or members of the Town Board may be present at either site during this time period, which would constitute a quorum of the town board.  The Town Board is not meeting on this date and is only there for the purpose of conducting the business noted above.  ***
