April 7, 2026 Spring Election Notice of Location and Hours of Polling Place: Notice of Location and Hours of Polling Place At the Spring Election to be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in the Town of Merrimac, the following polling place location will be used for the wards indicated:                            Location                                                                              Wards             Merrimac Town Hall             S6911 Hwy 113                                                                      Wards 1 & 2             Merrimac, WI 53561                                                 All polling places will open at 7:00 A.M. and will close at 8:00 P.M. All polling places are accessible to elderly and voters with disabilities.   If you have any questions concerning your polling place, contact the municipal clerk. Stat. § 19.84, the Election Inspectors at each polling place will convene as the Local Canvassing Board for the purpose of conducting the local canvass pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 7.51.  This meeting will be open to the public pursuant to Wis. Stat. §§ 19.81-89.   Notice of Meeting of MBOC to Process Rehabilitated Provisional Ballots If provisional ballots have been issued and are subsequently cured by the voter before 4:00 p.m. on the Friday after the election, the MBOC must meet no later than the following Monday at 9:00 a.m. to process the cured provisional ballots.  This is a public meeting and requires applicable notice.   Posted this 5th day of April, 2026  Stephanie Brensike, Clerk

Open Book November 18, 2023

NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT ROLL OPEN FOR EXAMINATION

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Merrimac Assessor will hold an Open Book of the Town’s 2023 assessment roll pursuant to Sec. 70.45, Wis. Stats., on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Merrimac Town Hall located at S6911 State Hwy. 113.  The assessor will be present and available to hear and answer all questions during the Open Book meetings.  The assessor may also make changes that are necessary at this time. Property owners are strongly encouraged to attend an Open Book session before making an appearance before the Board of Review.  If necessary, instructional information and objection forms will also be available during this time.
