Important Dates and Deadlines for the August 11 Partisan Primary

Important Dates and Deadlines for the August 11, 2026 Partisan Primary:

July 22, 2026 – Deadline for voters to register by mail or online to vote in the Partisan Primary Election. After this date voters may register in-person in the Clerk’s Office (until  5:00 p.m. August 7, 2026) or register at the polls on election day.

July 28, 2026 – First day of in-person absentee voting at the Town Hall.

  • In-person absentee hours:
    • Tuesday, July 28: 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
    • Thursday, July 30: 9:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
    • Wednesday, August 5: 9:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
    • Friday, August 7: 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

August 6, 2026 – Deadline to request absentee ballot by mail 5:00 p.m.

August 7, 2026 – Last day of in-person absentee voting and in-person registration at the Town Hall.

August 11, 2026 – Partisan Primary. Polls open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.
