NOTICE FOR BIDS

2026 Local Road Improvement Program

 

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Merrimac, Sauk County, is accepting seal Bids for the 2026 Local Road Improvement Program on Bay Rd, Wynding Way, Lookout Court, and a portion of Ruthe Badger Ln. Wedge portions of Bay Rd, double chip seal.

 

Sealed Bids are due May 21, 2026, at 6:00pm. Town of Merrimac, PO Box 115, S6911 Hwy 113, Merrimac, WI 53561. Town Hall office hours, M-Th 9:00am-3:00pm.

 

For bid requirements and specifications contact: Town of Merrimac Town Chair Mike Sitton at (608) 434-5374 or Administrator Stephanie Brensike, (608) 493-2588. Sealed bids will be opened during the Special Town Board Meeting on May 21, 2026, at 6:00pm.

 

The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder.
